What DoorFrame stores

For each person you add: their name, birth date, the sizes and measurements you log, and an optional photo. If you sign in, DoorFrame also stores your email address, which is used only to send you sign-in codes. DoorFrame doesn't ask for anything else and doesn't track how you use the app.

Where it lives

Everything is saved on your device first, and DoorFrame works fully offline. If you sign in, the same data is also backed up to a private database so it survives a lost or replaced device and syncs to your other devices. If you never sign in, nothing leaves your device.

Sharing with family

Once you're signed in, you can invite others to share a family. Everyone in it sees and updates the same people, sizes, and photos; sharing covers everything about a person, not just some of it. Invite links expire after 7 days and only work once.

What DoorFrame never does

No ads, no analytics or trackers of our own, and nothing is sold or shared outside your family. A photo you add is shown only inside the app, only to your family, and is never used for anything else.

Services DoorFrame uses

Each only to run its part:

• Supabase stores the backup and handles sign-in (signed-in features only).
• Resend delivers sign-in code emails.
• Expo hosts the web version of the app.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards email sent to support.
• Apple's TestFlight delivers the iPhone beta (see below).

The iPhone beta

The iPhone beta is delivered through Apple's TestFlight. Apple collects crash reports and basic usage information, such as installs and sessions, and shares them with us, along with any feedback or screenshots you choose to send from TestFlight. If we invited you by email, we also see the name and email address the invitation went to. This is handled under Apple's privacy policy; DoorFrame adds no tracking of its own.

Once DoorFrame is on the App Store, Apple may share similar anonymous statistics with us, but only if you've allowed sharing with app developers in your iPhone's settings.

Children

DoorFrame is for parents and caregivers to use. Information about children is entered by an adult, and it is kept and shared only as described here.

Your control

Sign out and your device's local copy is deleted (your account keeps it for next time). Delete your account (Settings, then Account & family) and everything in any family that's just you is permanently removed; a family shared with someone else stays with them. Removing a person hides them from the app, but their sizes aren't immediately erased unless you also delete the account. Never signed in? Settings has a "Delete all data on this device" option that erases everything at once.
